BSG Conference 2008 Venue & Facilities

 ‘The Bristol Experience’

The venue for the BSG Conference 2008 is Frenchay Campus, University of the West of England in Bristol. It offers delegates the ‘Bristol experience’; an exciting conference programme; excellent accommodation and close proximity to a range of places of interest in Bristol City, such as the SS Great Britain the Clifton Suspension Bridge and a range of shopping facilities in and around the Bristol area.

The Conference venue offers modern student village accommodation on campus within a few minutes walk to both OneZone, the ‘hub’ of the Conference and the lecture theatre and seminar rooms. Use of the state of the art sports facility is free to all conference delegates whilst on Campus. There is disability access to all areas of the University Campus. A map of the campus can be found HERE.

Internet access is available free for all conference delegates in both the accommodation and library IT suite. An internet password will be provided to individual delegates on arrival at registration.

A Conference dinner in the Victoria Rooms is not to be missed on Friday evening in Bristol. We will transport you to this Victorian listed building which has been modernised by Bristol University to house their Department of Music. It is a popular venue for conferences and dinners.
