Welcome to the 37th Conference of the British Society of Gerontology, 

hosted by the University of the West of England, Bristol and the University of Bristol.

We are pleased to announce the following speakers:

  • Miriam Bernard, Professor of Social Gerontology at Keele University; 
  • Alex Kalache, Former Director of the World Health Organization’s Ageing Program; and
  • Professor Graham Rowles, Sanders-Brown Center on Aging, University of Kentucky.
  • Tony Benn will speak at the conference dinner.
The conference social programme includes performances by 'the legendary' DJ Derek and the Boil and Bubble theatre group.

Submission of symposium proposals: 28th March 2008

Earlybird registration: Up to and including 15th June 2008
